Hello — I’m Gabi.
Yoga teacher, candle-maker, and a devoted believer in the slow way of doing things, on Vashon Island.

I came here to slow down — and never left.
Om, welcome to Gabi Yoga.
I'm Gabi, a yoga teacher, lifelong learner, and believer in the power ofpresence. Transformation rarely announces itself with fanfare. Mine began quietly, on a college campus where I was navigating the challengesof building a new life in a foreign country. Between mastering English as a second language and finding my footing in an unfamiliar culture, I was searching for something I couldn't quite name—stability, confidence, maybe just a moment of peace. A campus flyer changed everything. "Free Yoga Classes"—three simple words that would reshape my entire relationship with myself. From that very first session, I knew I’d discovered something truly extraordinary. Yoga didn't erase my problems, but it gave me the powerful tools to face them with grace. It taught methat strength isn't about being invincible; it’s about showing up, breathing through uncertainty, and trusting in your own incredible resilience. That practice became my foundation. It supported me through completing my ESL and paralegal studies, guided me toward my calling as acertified yoga teacher, and continues to be my compass through life's beautiful complexities. What I've learned, I'm here to share with you. At Gabi Yoga, we celebrate every body, every breath, and every brave step you take toward becoming your best self. Whether you're seeking increased flexibility, profound stress relief, or simply a moment of calm in your busy day, you'll find the empowerment you need right here. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
A few quiet commitments
Slow on purpose
We borrow the world from others
Slow on purpose
Rushing is a habit, not a virtue
Slow on purpose
Love is meant to be Shared
The same calm, in a jar.
The candles started as a way to bring the feeling of class home. I pour them by hand in small batches, scented like the island — cedar, sea salt, fir, and the smell of rain on the way.
They’re made with clean soy wax and the jars are built to be refilled and reused. Slow living, all the way down.

Come breathe with me.
Classes are small and beginners are always welcome. Your first one is half price.
